Rhino Valley Lodge (former Ngulia Bandas)
Rhino Valley Lodge has six self catering bandas, six standard rooms and a camp-site. The bandas are tastefully furnished and have a well equipped kitchenette and bathroom suite. The Camp has a modern restaurant, and a well stocked "Tree bar" .In addition to the game drives with experienced guides the camp offers nature walks and rock climbing up the Ngulia Hills, game viewing, guided walks, rock climbing, bird watching.
Ngulia Safari Lodge
Ngulia Safari Lodge is one of the three properties of Kenya Safari Lodges and Hotels, built in 1969. The lodge is perched on the Ndawe Escarpment, overlooking the Rhino Sanctuary surrounded by Scenic Hills; Ngulia Safari Lodge no doubt has one of the most breathtaking views in Kenya. Ngulia Safari Lodge has 52 standard rooms, all with bath and shower and a balcony with a view of the vast wilderness and floodlit water holes.
Kilanguni Serena Safari Lodge
Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge is located a short drive from the main Mtito Andei Gate, which lies 280km from Nairobi, 240km from Mombasa. Kilanguni is one of the first lodges ever to be built in a national park, is a classic stone-built lodge is superbly situated in the lee of Mount Kilimanjaro and sheltered by the volcanic splendor of the Chyulu Hills. Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge overlooks its own water hole, which is visited daily by elephants, buffalos and a wide variety of plains game., the lodge is cool, tranquil and hushed for optimum game-viewing. It is also ideally placed for visits to all the park’s prime attractions. The Lodge features a thatched central dining area and a rock-built bar, with a viewing terrace looking directly down on to the waterhole.
Severin Safari Camp
The western part of Tsavo West National Park is home of the Severin Safari Camp (40 km from Mtito Andei), set amongst the volcanic landscape and with the fresh waters of the Mzima and Kitani springs, the area is rich in wildlife. The Severin Safari Camp and the nearby affiliated Kitani Bandas (built in 1954) are nestled between Acacia trees with a majestic view of Mt. Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa.
The Severin Safari Camp has twenty (20) unique octagonal tents (approx. 30 sq m) as well as the Kibo Suite equipped with a luxurious bath tub and private viewing terrace. Each tent has hot and cold water, shower and separate toilet and bidet facilities. The comfortable beds with duvet and mosquito net, guarantees a luxurious night's sleep in the bush. Severin Kitani Safari Camp's main building overlooks the lit up water hole, consists of reception with international telephone facility, "Safari Boutique", the "Out of Africa Restaurant" with lounge and "Thorn Tree Bar". The evening camp fire creates the Out of Africa touch for that ... away from it all feeling.
Sarova Salt Lick Game Lodge
Sarova Salt Lick Game Lodge is located in the heart of the private Taita Hills Sanctuary bordering Tsavo West National Park in South Eastern Kenya, 400 kms from Nairobi and 200 kms from Mombasa. A one hour flight from Nairobi or 30 mins from Mombasa by private charter lands at the Lodge’s own airstrip. The Sanctuary is a 3 hour drive from Mombasa and a 6 hour drive from Nairobi on tarmac roads. Sarova Salt Lick Game Lodge is a truly unique concept consisting of 96 rooms elevated on stilts, each overlooking a waterhole and linked by suspended walkways. At night, the waterholes are floodlit ensuring that you enjoy an uninterrupted view of the numerous animals arriving to quench their thirst.
The elevated Restaurant and the Bar a level higher, also offer stunning views of the sanctuary and the ideal vantage points to view game. All rooms at Sarova Salt Lick Game Lodge are equipped with ensuite bathrooms with permanent showers and WC, running hot & cold water and 240V power. Rooms have double, twin or triple beds depending on room type. All rooms have views of watering holes. The rooms are luxuriously furnished with well appointed bathrooms.
